The forbidden city is endless. The main colour is red, the colour meaning luck. On the roof you can find many animals, such as dragons, which are supposed to protect against lightening striking. The Northern part of Forbidden city was only accessible to the emperor, his wifes (+concubines) and Eunuchs. The Southern part was where the emperor would meet every morning with his ministers, to discuss state affairs.
